The duties of this committee are as follows:
- Supervise and direct the recreational activities of the local union when such recreational activities are authorized by the membership
- Responsible for the care and preservation of the property and equipment used for such recreational activities
- Obtain such playgrounds and other facilities as are required for the purposes of the recreation
- Establish baseball, basketball, and other competitive teams for the benefit of the local membership when the recreation fund of the local union will permit
- Permit only members in good standing to participate on any teams or other activities carried on under the insignia of the local union.
